Claudia has built solid experience in litigation and non-contentious matters relating to patents and designs, copyright, unfair competition and trademarks.
She has acquired in-depth knowledge of the judicial and transactional protective mechanisms for software, know-how, and patents, even fon criminal matters.
As to the area of entertainment and media, she has significant expertise in the protection of the right to a name and image, and also advises clients concerning Product Placement and financing in the film industry. In relation to anti-counterfeiting, she assists Italian and foreign clients in the preparation of customized plans for the protection of intellectual property rights.
Claudia graduated in law with honours in 1995 from the University of Rome and was admitted to the (Rome) Bar in 1998 and to the Supreme Court, Italy, in 2012.
In 2008 she was a visiting lawyer at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, Century City – Los Angeles, where she worked in the Transactional Entertainment, Media and Communications Practice Group. She is a co-author of the publication “Report 2011. Il Mercato e l’Industria del Cinema in Italia” curated by Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo, having written the chapter entitled “L’evoluzione del Product Placement – Nuovi Strumenti per ridurre l’area di potenziale insuccesso e massimizzare l’investimento“.
Claudia regularly lectures in courses and masters degree programs and is a frequent speaker at seminars on intellectual property issues. She gives lectures at the post-graduate Food Design Master at the IED – European Institute of Design in Rome and at the GeMa (Executive Post Graduate Studies of Export Management).
Since 2008, she has worked with the consulting firm tibicon, with which she is co-author of the publication: “Il marchio è di destra o di sinistra? Il ruolo della proprietà intellettuale nella strategia dei partiti italiani” (2008 and 2011).
In 2011 she was a member of the technical board of The European House – Ambrosetti concerning a study on the problems and legal impact on the supply chain of the revised rules on the regulation of the tobacco sector in Europe.
She is currently a member of the Commission for International Relations of the Council of the Rome Bar Association, LES (Licensing Executives Society) and the association Avocats sans Frontières.
